Transferring on DVD has the following advantages worthy of your consideration:

• It can include menus and chapters, facilitating the easy scene-searching and repeated playback. The sequences can be instantaneously accessed.

• It can be rapidly multiplied without deteriorating the image quality.
• It can be watched both on the stand-alone DVD players and any computer with CD / DVD ROM.

And last but not least, consider that storing on video cassette for a long time has irremediable effects upon the quality of the recorded footage due to the tape demagnetization.

Transfer to UNIVERSAL DVD FORMAT
compatible with any stand-alone DVD player or computer

The DVD is the latest and most complete standard for digital conversion. The DVD uses MPEG2 compression at a resolution of 720x576(PAL).
It allows defining the most complex menus and chapters.
It is highly compatible with the DVD players on the market.
One single DVD can contain up to 77 minutes of impeccable quality film, there being only one limitation given by the quality of the original film.


Transfer to MPEG2 FORMAT
Compatible with the latest video-players or computers*
*this is not completely valid for any video player (compatibility depends on the device’s manufacturer and reliability)

This is a raw format of the video transfer. The advantage consists in the opportunity that you can make by yourself the ulterior editing of the video with no quality losses and no extra costs for editing. It is recommended for those who want to process by themselves their videos in order to be watched on a dedicated player or a computer.
A DVD can contain up to 77 minutes of impeccable quality video, the only limit being the original video’s quality.


Transfer to OTHER FORMATS: AVI, DIVX, MPEG1, VCD, SVCD
Compatible with the latest video-players* or computer
*this is not completely valid for any video player (compatibility depends on the device’s manufacturer and reliability)

On demand, we can also convert your personal video recordings in other common formats: AVI, DIVX, MPEG1, MPEG2, etc. these formats are specific to computer and no compatibility can be assured with all the video-players existing now (it depends on the device brand and reliability).
We encourage only the use of the standard formats in order that you may enjoy the whole array of facilities they offer and, at the same, the great compatibility with the devices on the market.

Transfer to Video CD (VCD)
VCD uses MPEG1 compression at a 352x288(PAL) resolution, comparable with VHS standard. We offer directly VCD 2.0 having the advantage that it allows integration of the menus which results in an easier watching.

Transfer to Super Video CD (SVC)
SVCD uses MPEG2 compression at a 480x576(PAL) resolution, to a higher quality than VCD.
This format, too, supports using the menus during watching. 
This format is a compromise between the DVD quality and VCD price. It is less compatible with the video-player existing now in the market. Please refer to your video-player’s handbook for the compatibility to SVCD.

Video editing
It represents the most complex step of video processing. During editing an unlimited number of audio and video sequences (in any format and from various sources) can be used. The undesired sequences can be cut away, the sound can be added or taken away, and more sound sources can be mixed. There can be used:

• Transfer effects between the frames (2D and 3D)
• Special image effects 
• Titles and texts in motion (2D and 3D)

The final result can be saved in any of DVD, SVCD, VCD formats.

NTSC – PAL – SECAM conversion

If you have a video cassette in NTSC format (e.g., received from the USA) and you cannot watch it, we can help you by converting it into PAL format (used in Europe).
Conversion can be made both ways (NTSC-PAL or PAL-NTSC).
Conversions can be made also from / into other formats: SECAM, PAP-M, PAL-N.

Photo DVD / VCD; Photographs Scan; Negative Scan; Diapositives Scan

For PhotoDVD/VCD the same support is used as for the DVD or VCD.
Photographs can be scanned by us or taken over from any digital support. 
They can be arranged in collages, using sliding effects and your desired music background. Watching is facilitated by using the menus. 
The most special productions are obtained when photographs are combined with video images in a multimedia presentation on DVD.
On demand, we can only scan your photographs and their burning onto a CD. Consequently, you can use them very easy in order to attach them to emails, publish them on the WEB or, simply, to keep them on a media much more reliable and not degradable in time. 
For special requirements, when you need for a higher resolution of your image, we recommend you to use the image scanned directly on film (negative/positive).

Conversion can be made into a digital format DVD (VCD, SVCD).
